Had fried fish with fries. Both were very tasty.

I ate the best fried fish in my life here. The fish is fresh, the breading is crispy and flavorful. The homemade potato salad is also highly recommended.

A super cute little shop that (thank god !!!) opened in lock down. Fried fish in a roll with garlic sauce - all that's missing is the Baltic Sea, and you're no longer in Xanten, but by the sea. The prices are okay, great quality, always happy 😍😍😍😍😍 thanks for the delicious flashbacks, we'll be back !!! 😍😍

We keep coming from Duisburg and the food was always of the same quality. Baked golden yellow and just delicious. Already taken many friends there and disappointed no one. Keep it up, we're looking forward to tomorrow. 👍😷🥰

were there on Saturday and wanted something to eat, when I asked if we could sit inside at the free table, we were asked very sharply "You can sit down if I allow it. The menu was on the entrance by the stairs. There we were also Very unfriendly sent away. Completely overwhelmed and unfriendly, the envied. We then ate somewhere else

Best matjes salad, freshly fried fish, nice and crispy and Very hot. Food is freshly prepared. Only the landlord takes some getting used to 😉

Very tasty fish, delicious thick fries, delicious tartar sauce and no matter what time, always nice staff and fast service. We come specially from Duisburg and visit my parents at the same time.

The food is of good quality, really tasty! Good food also includes friendly service .... doesn't have to be pushy and exuberant, no .... friendly is enough for us ... :) Conclusion: good food, portions too small (I'm not a glutton now !), the price is high for that - and well ... something nicer would be nice, because after all we should come back ?!

Always delicious, the best fried fish there is! Whenever we are in Xanten, we have to go there, our children and we love this shop. A highlight in Xanten !!

Delicious. Better than some Dutch fish markets. The fries were as good as in Belgium. In addition, the almost idyllic Xanten to get into the holiday mood. The female waitress is tough but warm. The male part only warmly.

Excellent! Backfish and kibbelings are awesome. Then this fries. I could fool myself. Why isn't there such a thing in Cologne? I'll be back, no question.

Fish and Chips with Sarsons Malt Vinigar !!! Perfect! 👍👍👍👍👍 Very close to a fish and chips in Great Britain. Wonderful fresh fish, tastes better than some British Chippy’s I’ve experienced. If you want Mushy Pies you’ll have to bring a tin with you. 😉

Good food
